Pramod Bhasin, the founder of Genpact, has been appointed as the chairman of Data Security Council of India (DSCI), effective April 1, 2023.
He succeeds Rajendra S Pawar, the chairman and co-founder of the NIIT Group, who served as chairman DSCI for a period of three years prior to this transition.
Bhasin is also the current chairman of the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER).
