PE firm New Silk Route (NSR), which owns a majority stake in telecom tower company Aster Infrastructure, is reportedly in negotiations with Essar Telecom Infrastructure Limited for a possible merger. Meanwhile, prior to approaching Essar, NSR had held talks with Crown Castle International for the sale of Aster Infrastructure.
