Paytm payment gateway (PG) has entered into an exclusive partnership with Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) for retailer payments.
As per Paytm PG, the partnership will enable mobile phone and DTH top-up retailers to make cashless payments for bulk recharge purchases from telecom and satellite TV service providers.
The payment gateway which now powers Vi’s internal merchant app, will further enable Vi’s offline mobile recharge retailers to make bulk recharge payments for top-ups to the telco’s distributors.
For availing the facility, offline recharge retailers have to login with their credentials into Vi’s merchant app, enter the bulk top-up, and complete the transaction by choosing from a list of options provided by Paytm.
