Worldcall Group, an emerging telecom group in Pakistan, has selected Huawei Technologies to deploy a CDMA-WLL network in Karachi and Hyderabad in southern Pakistan. In the turnkey project, Huawei will provide Worldcall Telecommunications with civil engineering, infrastructure deployment, and management and optimisation services. The new network will be built on Huawei’s CDMA softswitch solution and its leading 450/479 MHz base transceiver station, which offers advantages of abundant network capacity, advanced technology and low operation costs.
