Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has signed a deal with hardware vendor Huawei Technologies that will see the latter build and deploy a nationwide long-haul dense wavelength division multiplexing (LH DWDM) network.

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has signed a deal with hardware vendor Huawei Technologies that will see the latter build and deploy a nationwide long-haul dense wavelength division multiplexing (LH DWDM) network. The new infrastructure will allow PTCL to improve network capacity, performance and services. Huawei will replace the existing 10G DWDM that PTCL already has in operation.
