
Delhi-based internet service provider, Ozone Networks is offering users free internet access at select public places through its free Wi-Fi hotspots.
Mobile phone users will be able to connect to Ozone networks? free Wi-Fi hotspots automatically, through an application, which will show free zones in select public places and prompt the users to access internet services. The Ozone Connect application will allow customers to log in as soon as they come into an Ozone Wi-Fi hotspot. Customers need to register with the application only once followed by an SMS for authentication.
While the first 30 minutes of internet access at each Wi-Fi hotspot is free, a user can pick up data packages priced at Rs 30 and above for accessing internet beyond the free limit.
Besides, Ozone Networks, operators such as Vodafone India, Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited and Tata Teleservices are also offering users free limited internet services through Wi-Fi zones in Delhi.
