Orascom Telecom Algeria (OTA), a unit of Orascom Telecom Holdings, has reportedly signed a contract with Algeria-based wireless broadband equipment provider, Redline Communications, to supply wireless backhaul for the expansion of the latter’s Djezzy GSM

Orascom Telecom Algeria (OTA), a unit of Orascom Telecom Holdings, has reportedly signed a contract with Algeria-based wireless broadband equipment provider, Redline Communications, to supply wireless backhaul for the expansion of the latter’s Djezzy GSM network in Algeria. Under the deal, OTA will supply its RedCONNEX AN-30e and AN-50e solutions to Redline. This will enable Redline to upgrade its mobile network, manage increased traffic on its network and support more advanced voice and data communications.
