Optiemus Electronics Limited has received the government’s approval for information technology (IT) hardware manufacturing under the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme.
Commenting on the development, A. Gururaj, managing director, Optiemus Electronics Limited, said, “We are extremely excited to receive the approval for PLI Scheme for IT hardware products and like to thank the government, who have shown the faith in our capabilities. We firmly believe this scheme will enable us to be competitive in manufacturing of these products in India for domestic and export requirements. India holds immense potential in electronics manufacturing and this scheme has the potential to act as a catalyst in achieving our Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. Optiemus Electronics is all prepared and will commence production in accordance with the scheme soon.”
