Oppo has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad to conduct joint research in the field of science and emerging technologies.

As per the terms of the MoU, the two parties will carry out joint research and development activities for multiple projects over a period of two years. These projects will be centred around the development of new technologies in areas such as camera and image processing, battery, networks (5G), system performance and artificial intelligence, etc.

The partnership is aimed at developing solutions that can bridge the gap between academic excellence and business requirements and help create an industry-ready workforce.
