Chinese handset manufacturer Oppo has appointed Charles Wong as the new India president and Oppo’s assistant vice-president. Wong has nearly two decades of experience in sales and marketing. He will be responsible for steering Oppo’s expansion in India and will report to Alen Wu, who has now been appointed vice-president of global operations. Wu will oversee the entire international operations and is charged with accelerating growth outside China.
