Oppo has completed the first phase of its Greater Noida manufacturing facility and has scaled up production at this facility. The Greater Noida manufacturing facility is part of a 110-acre industrial park.

At present, the factory produces 4 million smartphones per month. Oppo plans to double its manufacturing capacity by the end of 2020. Also, the company’s workforce employed at the Noida facility is expected to increase from the current 10,000 to over 15,000 by 2020.

Going forward, Oppo is planning to start exporting from its Greater Noida facility to South Asia, Middle East and Africa markets post becoming fully operational by 2020.

Meanwhile, the company is also planning to increase investment in the Hyderabad R&D centre, which is largest outside China.
