Open RAN to contribute 10 per cent to overall RAN revenues by 2025, says Dell’Oro Group

 The cumulative open radio access network (Open RAN) revenue is projected to reach $10 billion to $15 billion during 2020-25, as per a report by the Dell’Oro Group.

Furthermore, the report expects that Open RAN revenues will constitute 10 per cent or more of the overall RAN market by 2025, noting that virtualised RAN (vRAN) is progressing more slowly.

Nevertheless, the Dell’Oro Group expects vRAN revenues to reach $2 billion to $3 billion by 2025.
