Mobile VAS provider One97 Communications has bought a 25 per cent stake in Singapore’s smartphone security technology developer tenCube for about Rs 100 million. tenCube has a strong presence in the US and European markets, with global operators such as Telenor and SingTel using its flagship product WaveSecure. One97 also has a presence in the smartphone applications market. Its existing partners in the segment include BlackBerry and Nokia.
