Obi Mobiles, the mobile brand of Inflexionpoint, a Singapore-based technology firm, has launched five new Android smartphones priced between Rs 4,200 and Rs 7,850. The smartphones are Obi S400, S450, Python S452, S500 and Wolverine S501.

The 4-inch dual-SIM Obi S400 is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor coupled with a 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32 GB. The phone operates on Android Jelly Bean platform and supports 3G connectivity. It is priced at Rs 4,200. The Obi S450 has similar specifications as the Obi S400 phone except for the 4.5 inch FWVGA display and a 1,800 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 4,990. The Obi S500 smartphone, apart from the same features as S450, has a 5-inch FWVGA screen and 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, and is priced at Rs 5,990.

The Obi Python S452 is also priced at Rs 5,990, while Obi Wolverine S501 is the most expensive of the lot and features a 5 inch FWVGA IPS display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It is priced at Rs 7,850.

In the Indian market, Obi Mobiles had earlier launched its first smartphone, Octopus S520, in July 2014.
