NTT DATA partners Palo Alto Networks to launch managed security service for private 5G

NTT DATA has collaborated with Palo Alto Networks to launch a new managed service equipped with Palo Alto’s technologies to improve private 5G security in industrial and operational technology (OT) environments.

The solution, which will be delivered on a turnkey basis, will combine Palo Alto Networks’ Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), OT/ Internet of Things (IoT) subscriptions with NTT DATA’s private 5G architecture. It will offer enterprises with improved network visibility, access control, automated threat detection and response capabilities.

Palo Alto Networks’ next generation firewall (NGFW) will further enable organisations to apply a zero-trust security posture, incorporating machine learning (ML) to safely enable only the relevant connections, applications and protocols needed for their network.
