Norway’s Telenor has hiked its stake in Unitech Wireless – the telecom unit of Unitech – to 49 per cent through an add itional investment of Rs 11.3 billion.

Norway’s Telenor has hiked its stake in Unitech Wireless ?? the telecom unit of Unitech ?? to 49 per cent through an additional investment of Rs 11.3 billion. According to the agreement between the two companies, Telenor has to increase its stake in Unitech Wireless to 67.25 per cent in a phased manner. The Norwegian company had earlier paid Rs 12.5 billion for a 33.5 per cent stake.
