Norway’s Telenor has bought an additional 7 per cent stake in Uninor for a little over Rs 20 billion. In 2008, Telenor agreed to buy 67.25 per cent stake in its wireless arm for about Rs 61.2 billion in four phases. Telenor has now completed its four-stage stake buy in Uninor. Meanwhile, Uninor recorded an operating profit of 755 million kroner in the October-December 2009 period.
