Certain Vodafone Group executives, who were part of the board of directors at Indus Towers, have tendered resignation from their posts. The development comes after Bharti Airtel became the majority shareholder in Indus Towers. Airtel now owns 50.005 per cent shares in Indus Towers.
Ravinder Takkar, chairman, Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi); Sunil Sood, director, Vi; and Thomas Reisten, former chief financial officer, Vodafone Business have stepped down from the Indus board. They were appointed as non-executive, non-independent directors.
