Nokia’s chief executive officer (CEO) Rajeev Suri has stepped down from his post and will vacate the office in September 2020. Suri will be succeeded by Pekka Lundmark, who is currently serving as the CEO of Fortum.

Suri had been associated with Nokia for more than a decade as head of Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks.

Meanwhile, Lundmark, head of Fortum since 2015, held multiple executive positions at Nokia between 1990 and 2000, including vice president of strategy and business development at Nokia Networks.
