Nokia has signed a deal with OmniClouds for deployment of Nuage Networks’ SD-WAN 2.0 solution throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
OmniClouds will be using Nuage Networks’ SD-WAN 2.0 as an overlay to existing connectivity technologies, such as IP-MPLS, microwave, satellite or public internet. The deal focuses on automating operations to enhance connectivity over large geographic regions which will also help in connecting with SD-WAN CPE gateways at the enterprise’s data centres, headquarters and branch operations.
With the deal, OmniClouds aims to ease its customers’ migration to hybrid or full public cloud. Furthermore, the customers will be provided secure and scalable ways to connect with data centres, private clouds, software-as-a-solution (SaaS) and infrastructure-as-a-solution (IaaS) providers.
