Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has rebranded itself as Nokia Solutions and Networks. However, the company will continue to use the acronym NSN.
The development comes after Nokia completed the acquisition of Siemens? 50 per cent stake in Nokia Siemens Networks. Nokia has 100 per cent stake in Nokia Solutions and Networks. The transaction was completed on July 1, 2013.
Though Nokia Solutions and Networks will be the new name of the company, NSN?s website will not be rebranded or changed.
Nokia Solutions and Networks, a mobile broadband company, is wholly owned by Nokia and will continue to be consolidated by Nokia.
Following the acquisition, no changes would be made to the company?s leadership team.
Rajeev Suri will continue as the chief executive officer and Jesper Ovesen will continue as executive chairman of the NSN Board of Directors.
