Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has decided to lay off 120 employees in Finland. According to the company, redundancies will affect its workers in Espoo, Oulu and Raahe in Finland. The small unit in Raahe will be closed altogether. The layoffs are part of a global cost-cutting programme that NSN announced in 2009. Around 7 to 9 per cent of the company’s employees (4,500 to 6,000 people) are likely to lose their jobs on this account.
