Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has been awarded a contract to modernise South African mobile network operator, Cell C’s all-IP radio access and backbone network.

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has been awarded a contract to modernise South African mobile network operator, Cell C’s all-IP radio access and backbone network. Under a separate contract, NSN will also provide managed services for the network. The operator is modernising its radio network to keep pace with the growth in mobile data traffic and increasing use of smart devices in the country.
