Nokia Siemens Networks has announced the appointment of Paul Tyler to lead its business in Asia Pacific. Tyler, an Australian citizen, is currently head of sales for the company?s network systems division in the Asia-Pacific region, where he and his team have helped deliver strong growth, particularly in the key countries of Korea and Japan.
Tyler will continue to be based in Singapore and his appointment is effective from April 15 2011. Tyler succeeds Rick Corker who has been appointed to lead the company?s North America Region, replacing Sue Spradley. Spradley, who joined Nokia Siemens Networks in July 2007, is stepping down to pursue opportunities outside the firm.
