Nokia has launched the Asha 501 smartphone, priced at Rs 5,199.
The device functions on the Asha platform and packs in a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel rear camera and support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Other features include 64 MB of internal storage, expandable up to 32 GB and the company is bundling a 4GB microSD card with the device as well.
The Nokia Asha 501 also features two screens-the Home and the Fastlane screens. The Home screen displays a traditional application launcher and the Fastlane screen will display recent activity on the phone as well as upcoming events.
Other features include over 50 pre-installed applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Like, Nimbuzz and WeChat, CNN, CricInfo and Twist Music and a free pack of 40 electronic arts games.
