Nokia witnessed a 15 per cent decline in India sales to €250 million (about Rs 21.13 billion) in the quarter ended December 31, 2021. The company had recorded net sales of €294 million a year ago.

Meanwhile, for the full year ended December 31, 2021, the company’s sales in India grew by 9 per cent to €1,039 million from €954 million at the end of 2020. In addition, on a constant currency basis, the sales of Nokia declined by 19 per cent during the reported quarter on a year-on-year basis and annual revenue increased by 13 per cent.

Further, global profit during the reported quarter for the company declined by 7 per cent to €731 million from €784 million a year ago. The global revenue of Nokia, on the other hand, observed a decline by 2 per cent to €6.41 billion in the December 2021 quarter from €6.55 billion in the corresponding quarter of 2020.
