Nokia has appointed Sanjay Malik as the new head of its India operations. He succeeds Sandeep Girotra, who has been appointed head of the Asia-Pacific and Japan market. Malik is currently serving as vice-president (VP) and head of Nokia’s global network implementation services. He will assume his new role from August 1, 2016, and will be leading the com­pany’s customer operations and business growth strategy for the Indian market. Meanwhile, as head, Asia-Pacific and Japan, Girotra will be based in Singapore.
