Nokia and Thai telecommunications operator Advanced Info Service (AIS) have signed a $100 million contract to expand the latter’s GSM/EDGE network.

Nokia and Thai telecommunications operator Advanced Info Service (AIS) have signed a $100 million contract to expand the latter’s GSM/EDGE network. According to the deal, Nokia will supply AIS with a wide range of GSM/EDGE radio and core network solutions, including base stations and the Nokia MSC Server System mobile softswitch.
