NASSCOM Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of NASSCOM, aims to impact 100 million lives in India by 2026 through its digital learning, skilling and employability programs.
With the goal to enable women’s entrepreneurship, the foundation expects to impact over 2.5 million lives across 15 states of the country by the end of 2022. While the foundation is currently focused on urban areas, it is rapidly expanding programs to rural India.
Most of the programs are designed in-house through partnerships with educational institutions and tech companies and are focused on providing digital literacy across the country, especially in rural areas. One of its flagship women’s entrepreneurship programs was piloted in Madhya Pradesh in 2021, with tribal artisans and now covers around 20,000 women across rural India.
