Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL), which operates under brand name MTS, has partnered with content provider Shotz7 to launch an online movie streaming service ?MTS Movies?. The service will allow customers stream and watch movies free of cost.
The service launch is a part of several other initiatives launched by MTS in recent years to enhance data consumption on its network. In 2013, SSTL released MTS mAd which allows users to make free local calls by watching mobile ads. In 2012, it launched MTS Video Bites, an Android app that offers video on demand. Prior to that, in 2010, MTS launched MTS TV, a service that allows users to watch over 100 Live TV and Video on Demand (VoD) channels over its network.
