Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has secured a Rs 25 billion loan from Axis Bank. The funds will be used to part-finance its payment of Rs 65.64 billion to the government for the 3G spectrum. The remaining amount will be paid through internal accruals.
