MTNL has reportedly emerged as the highest bidder for the Sri Lankan fixed line operator SunTel. The company has placed a bid worth $160 to $180 million. Telekom Malaysia and the Sri Lankan firm John Keells Holdings are also in the race to acquire SunTel.
