MTNL has joined the race to acquire a majority stake in Zambia Telecommunications Company (Zamtel).

MTNL has joined the race to acquire a majority stake in Zambia Telecommunications Company (Zamtel). The Zambian government is planning to sell 75 per cent equity of Zamtel for about $200 million. MTNL has already expressed interest for Zamtel and has signed a non-disclosure agreement with the company.
