MTNL and RCL have finalised plans to jointly explore and launch operations overseas. This is the first time a PSU and a private firm are entering into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly explore global opportunities. The companies are likely to bid for telecom licences in Morocco and Kenya. During the term of the agreement, both parties have agreed not to work with a third party on the same opportunity without the other’s written consent.
