
Motorola has signed a contract with Pakistan’s Wateen Telecom to enhance coverage and double the capacity of the latter’s WiMax network, which covers 30 million people across 22 cities.
Wateen Telecom selected Motorola’s Wi-Max and IMS core technology to build its next-generation wireless broadband network in 2006.
