Motorola has signed a contract with Pakistan’s Wateen Telecom to enhance coverage and double the capacity of the latter’s Wi Max network, which covers 30 million people across 22 cities.

Wateen Telecom selected Motorola’s Wi-Max and IMS core technology to build its next-generation wireless broadband network in 2006.
