Motorola has entered into an agreement with Taiwan-based Far EasTone (FET) under which it will be powering the operators’ Wi-Max service in Taichung city.

Motorola has entered into an agreement with Taiwan-based Far EasTone (FET) under which it will be powering the operators’ Wi-Max service in Taichung city. The network coverage and capacity will be expanded in the future with a growth in usage. FET has earlier used Motorola’s WAP 400 and WAP 450 base stations and connectivity service network authentication, authorisation and accounting solutions.
