Motorola has bagged a contract from MTNL to supply universal mobile telecommunications service (UMTS) solutions for its upcoming 2 million GSM line deployment in Delhi and the National Capital Region.

Motorola has bagged a contract from MTNL to supply universal mobile telecommunications service (UMTS) solutions for its upcoming 2 million GSM line deployment in Delhi and the National Capital Region. Under the agreement, Motorola will also undertake network deployment and maintenance services. This is the first UMTS network deployment in India.
