Application security company Indusface has said in a report that more than 829 million cyber attacks were blocked during the fourth quarter of 2022 globally. 59 per cent of these websites were in India.

According to the report, mid-market companies with revenues between $10 million and $1 billion saw over 45 per cent of these cyber attacks while over 21 per cent attacks were on enterprises with more than $1 billion in revenue. Small businesses saw over 34 per cent of these attacks.

As compared to the earlier quarter, there was a sharp increase in distributed denial over service (DDoS) and bot attacks.
