Mobile VAS provider One97 Communications has bought a 25 per cent stake in Singapore-based smartphone security technology developer tenCube for about Rs 100 million.

Mobile VAS provider One97 Communications has bought a 25 per cent stake in Singapore-based smartphone security technology developer tenCube for about Rs 100 million. tenCube has a strong presence in the US and European markets with global operators Telenor and SingTel using its flagship product WaveSecure.

One97 is also present in the smartphone applications market. Its existing partners in the segment include BlackBerry and Nokia.
