Mobile telecommunications companies have sought a 74 per cent FDI cap for resellers of international bandwidth along with 6 per cent revenue share levy, as is the case with ILD operators. The objective is to ensure a level playing field. Currently, there is a 74 per cent FDI cap on all telecom operators, barring internet service providers (ISPs), as per Press Note 5.
