Mobile handset manufacturer LG Electronics is planning to launch 100 exclusive mobile handset stores across the country to enhance its market presence. The company is aiming to achieve 10 per cent market share by end-2010 with a turnover of Rs 30 billion.
Further, it plans to increase its retail distribution network from the present 20,000 dealers to 40,000 and has earmarked a budget of Rs 2.9 billion for marketing activities. The sale of youth-centric handhelds is expected to constitute 20 per cent of its sales.
