Microsoft has launched the Lumia 430 smartphone in India for Rs 5,299.

The smartphone features a 4 inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 430 runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and offers 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 128 GB through a microSD card. In addition, it offers 30 GB of free cloud storage on Microsoft OneDrive. The smartphone supports dual SIM cards and cameras – 2 megapixels rear camera and a VGA front facing camera.

The Lumia 430 is backed by a 1500 mAh battery and offers popular social applications such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Viber and WeChat along with gaming applications such as Asphalt 8, available on the Windows Phone Store.

Further, the smartphone comes bundled with data usage from Vodafone India. The operator is offering 500 MB of free data usage per month for a period of two months to Lumia 430 buyers. Users in 3G circles will have access to free 3G data, meanwhile users in circles where intra-circle roaming is applicable will get free 2G data. In addition, Mobikwik, the online wallet service provider will offer charge cash back worth Rs 1,000 for recharges and payments made through the Mobikwik application, which will be redeemable with a minimum recharge of Rs 200 per month for five months. Meanwhile, RedBus, the online ticketing service, is offering discounts worth Rs 1,500 on bus tickets over six single trips booked through the mobile app.
