Microsoft has launched Edu-Cloud, a cloud computing based offering to provide digital learning and teaching in schools and higher educational institutions.
The Edu-Cloud aims to enhance the productivity of teachers and students with applications for teaching, learning, and administrative processes. The offering is expected to reach out to 1 million teachers and 6 million students.
To encourage the adoption and distribution of Edu-Cloud, Microsoft has tied-up with the Chaitanya group of educational institutions.
