Microsoft has appointed Puneet Chandok as the new corporate vice president for India and South Asia. He took over his operational responsibilities from Anant Maheshwari on September 1, 2023.
Chandok’s main responsibility will be to oversee the integration of Microsoft’s businesses across South Asian countries such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka, while increasing the company’s presence in the region.
Chandok previously led Amazon Web Services’ India and South Asia business, while working closely with enterprises, digital companies, start-ups and small and medium businesses. He has also worked as partner at McKinsey in India and Asia, and held a senior regional and global role at IBM.
