Micromax Informatics Limited has introduced the Canvas Pep smartphone at a price of Rs 5,999 in India. It is a 4.5-inch smartphone with a FWVGA display and a screen resolution of 480×854 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. Further, it has 1 GB of RAM and its inbuilt storage capacity can be expanded up to 32 GB through microSD card.
It features a 5 megapixel fixed-focus primary camera with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing digital camera. The smartphone offers connectivity options including 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
