The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has extended the deadline for submitting feedback on the draft Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, 2025, to March 5, as per the official notice published by the ministry.
MeitY had published the draft DPDP Rules on its website on January 3, 2025, for public consultation. Initially, stakeholders were invited to submit their feedback or comments by February 18, 2025. However, in response to multiple representations from stakeholders, the Ministry has decided to extend the submission deadline to March 5, 2025.
