Public affairs and government relations consultancy Mavcomm Advisory has appointed Anupam Shrivastava, former chairman and managing director (CMD) of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) as partner.
Under this role, Shrivastava will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and direction of the company.
Shrivastava is a 1981 batch Indian Telecom Service (ITS) officer, and brings with him over three decades of experience across India and other geographies in the telecom sector. He has a BE degree in electronics and communications along with an MBA in marketing. He has taken training in India and Japan for telecommunications.
Apart from the role of BSNL CMD, Shrivastava was also the director (CM) in BSNL corporate office since May 2013. Prior to that, he held the post of senior GM, Ajmer.
