Mathan Babu Kasilingam rejoins Vi as CTSO and DPO

Mathan Babu Kasilingam has re-joined Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) as its chief technology and strategy officer (CTSO) and data privacy officer (DPO).

Under Kasilingam, Vi is expected to bolster its consumer-facing initiatives and enhance technology and security frameworks at a time when the telco is preparing to launch its commercial fifth-generation (5G) services from March 2025, and expand 4G coverage nationwide.

Vi, under his leadership, previously attained the SOC2 Type II attestation, making it the only telco to gain this attestation.
