RJIL’s chief digital marketing officer and senior VP of digital channels, Martijn de Jong has resigned from the company. He will be joining Aegon India as the company’s chief marketing and digital officer. Jong served RJIL for almost two years and was responsible for the digital marketing activities of both RJIL and Reliance Retail’s LYF handset brand. He also looked after Reliance Retail’s e-commerce, digital recharges and mobile advertisement business segments. He was instrumental in setting up RJIL’s partnerships with e-commerce firms like Amazon and Flipkart, along with fintech companies, payment providers and banks. Prior to joining RJIL, he worked with Deutsche Telekom as the VP and business unit lead for big data and application programming interface products. In the past, he has worked with Tele2 AB and Vodafone.
