Malaysia-based mobile operator DiGi.Com is looking for acquisition opportunities to expand into the broadband business.
According to sources, it may acquire Time dotCom, which owns fibre optic networks and has a licence to offer 3G services. The company has an aggressive 800-900 million ringgit budget to spend on capital expenditure in 2007, which will be used to increase network capacity and quality.
